Ashley Monroe

Ashley Monroe is a country music singer and songwriter from America. The album Satisfied came out in 2007. She was a part of the Pistol Annies band with Angaleena Lambert as well as Miranda Lambert. Her second album, Like a Rose (2013) follows her previous album. Ashley Monroe performing Blake SheltonIn 2016 she recorded The Blade which was another well-received album. Ashley Monroe has been in public service for over 15 years. She was the majority of that time as a deputy city manager for Iowa City. She is currently the Village Manager's Assistant and holds a wide range of responsibilities that include overseeing the Community Development and Building Department in charge of grants and special initiatives. Ashley is responsible for running the day-to-day operations of Riverside Village and also for implementing the goals and strategies that elected representatives. Ashley's previous roles include the budgeting and planning of government communications, personnel management as well as collective negotiation. Ashley is also passionate about climate change. Through her involvement in the national community and working in communities with populations ranging Ashley has gained insight on the many complexities and differences when it comes to the ways public agencies function. Ashley's teaching focuses on the latest approaches to the management of public affairs and leaders from the standpoint of a seasoned professional. Her focus is on ethical and strategic decision-making that adapts to current issues and opportunities and navigating intergovernmental and community relationships will provide a framework for future and working professionals within public institutions.
